Ladies Night - Know Your Car, In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Ladies Night: Know Your Car
A practical car care evening for women at BYD Kidderminster
Thursday 1st October 2026 | 6pm – 8pm
This October, we're inviting women into the showroom at BYD Kidderminster for a special Ladies’ Night: Know Your Car, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Whether you've been driving for years or have only recently passed your test, our friendly team will take you through some of the everyday car care essentials that every driver can benefit from knowing.
It's a relaxed, practical evening with no technical knowledge needed and no jargon, just useful advice to help you better understand your car and feel more confident on the road.
What Will You Learn?
Throughout the evening, our team will provide practical demonstrations covering:
Tyres & Pressures – Learn how to check your tyre pressures, find the correct pressure for your vehicle, measure tyre tread and spot signs of damage.
Oil & Fluids – Take a look under the bonnet and learn how to check oil, coolant and screenwash levels.
Dashboard Warning Lights – Understand some of the most common warning lights, what they mean and when you should seek assistance.
Winter Car Care – Simple checks and tips to help prepare your vehicle for the colder months.
Roadside Essentials – Find out what it's useful to keep in your car and what to do if something goes wrong.
There'll also be plenty of opportunities to ask our technicians your own car care questions throughout the evening.

Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As our Ladies’ Night takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we'll also be using the evening to help raise funds and awareness for a cause that means so much to so many.
For every woman who attends, BYD Kidderminster will donate £5 to Breast Cancer Now.
We'll be fundraising throughout the evening, including a charity raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.
If you'd like to take part in the raffle or make a donation on the evening, please bring some cash with you where possible. Every contribution is completely optional, but greatly appreciated.
