BYD Kidderminster Ladies Night Raises £200 for Breast Cancer Now

BYD Kidderminster Ladies Night Raises £200 for Breast Cancer Now
Our Ladies Night at BYD Kidderminster was a fantastic success, bringing women from across Kidderminster and the surrounding area together for an evening of practical car maintenance advice, hands-on activities and fundraising.
Most importantly, thanks to the incredible support of everyone who attended, we raised £200 for Breast Cancer Now.
We can't thank everyone enough for coming along, getting involved and helping us make our first Ladies Night such a memorable evening.
Helping Women Feel More Confident About Their Cars
Held at our BYD Kidderminster dealership on Worcester Road, Ladies Night was created to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment where women could learn more about their cars, build their confidence and ask those motoring questions they may not usually get the opportunity to ask.
The evening was led by Andrei Bucovineanu, Group Service Manager at All Electric Garages, accompanied by our Service Advisors Chloe Cullen from BYD Kidderminster and Ben Hickman from our Stourbridge dealership.
Together, the team shared their knowledge and practical advice throughout the evening, demonstrating some of the everyday vehicle checks that every driver can benefit from knowing.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to learn about:
Checking tyre tread depth and recognising when a tyre may need replacing
Understanding common dashboard warning lights
Checking engine oil, coolant and screenwash
What to keep in your car for emergencies
Basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks
There was also an opportunity to ask our team those car maintenance questions you've always wanted to ask, helping make vehicle maintenance that little bit easier to understand.
Putting Car Knowledge to the Test
It wasn't all demonstrations! Our Tyre Tread Challenge gave guests the opportunity to inspect tyres with different tread depths and put their new knowledge into practice.
We also tested everyone's dashboard knowledge with our Warning Light Challenge, looking at some of the symbols that can appear on your dashboard and what they actually mean.
The activities created plenty of conversation throughout the showroom and gave everyone the opportunity to get involved.
Raising £200 for Breast Cancer Now
Alongside our car care activities, Ladies Night was held in support of Breast Cancer Now, the UK's leading breast cancer charity.
Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising and took part in our raffle, we're delighted to have raised an amazing £200 for Breast Cancer Now.
The money raised will help support the charity's vital work, including funding breast cancer research and providing information and support to people affected by breast cancer.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed.
Thank You to Our Local Businesses
Our raffle wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of local businesses who kindly donated prizes to support the evening.
A huge thank you to @tanningbylauren, @amylouiseartistry, @nidu.creation who contributed towards our raffle prizes making the evening such a success.
Supporting local businesses is incredibly important to us, and we can't thank everyone enough for getting behind our event and helping us raise money for such an important cause.
Thank You From Everyone at BYD Kidderminster
Finally, we'd like to say a huge thank you to every single person who attended our Ladies Night at BYD Kidderminster. It was fantastic to see our showroom filled with such a brilliant atmosphere, and we loved seeing everyone getting involved, asking questions and learning something new.
We hope everyone who joined us left feeling a little more knowledgeable and confident when it comes to looking after their car. Raising £200 for Breast Cancer Now made an already special evening even better.
From everyone at All Electric BYD Kidderminster – thank you for making our Ladies Night such a success.
