On Saturday 18th April, the BYD Atto 3 Evo made its debut at BYD Stourbridge. It marked another step in how quickly BYD continues to refine and enhance its models, bringing regular improvements to design, technology, and everyday driving experience.

The ATTO 3 Evo is an enhanced version of the ATTO 3, the new design is clean and modern, with sharper lines that give it a stronger presence on the road. It feels considered, not overstated.

Inside, the car is calm and comfortable. The layout is simple, easy to understand, and designed around the driver. The rotating touchscreen remains a central feature, offering both function and a touch of character. Materials feel improved, and there is a sense that attention has been given to the smaller details.

Driving the EVO is smooth and quiet, as you would expect from an electric car. But there is also a sense of ease to it something that makes everyday journeys feel lighter. Efficiency and range have been improved, making it suitable for both city driving and longer trips.

Whats New

Bigger battery and more range
The Evo comes with a larger battery (around 74.8kWh compared to about 60kWh in the original), which gives it more driving range and better efficiency.
Faster charging
One of the biggest upgrades is charging speed. The Evo can charge much faster thanks to a newer 800V system, cutting charging times significantly compared to the older model.
More performance
The Evo is noticeably more powerful, with quicker acceleration and a sportier feel, especially in the AWD version
Improved technology and interior updates
Inside, the Evo gets upgraded software, improved infotainment, and small layout changes that make the cabin feel more modern and user-friendly.
More practicality
Boot space and storage have increased, including a new front storage area (“frunk”), making it more practical for everyday use.
