
We’ve created the short video below to explain some significant changes happening at All Electric Garages Group. We know this kind of news is best heard directly, so please take a moment to hear it from our Managing Director, Jason Pickerill.
From 30th November, All Electric Garages Group will no longer be representing Hyundai at our Kidderminster location. This includes new Hyundai sales, Hyundai warranty repairs, and authorised Hyundai prepaid service plan work.
This change follows Hyundai Motor Company’s ongoing network restructure, focused on a “fewer, bigger, better” strategy. Their shift toward larger partners in major market areas means that smaller, long-standing partners like ourselves were not selected to continue — despite our efforts, strong performance, and nearly 30 years of representing Hyundai in Kidderminster.
We had hoped to retain Hyundai-approved aftersales support, given our history and commitment to our customers, but this request was declined. We understand this will be disappointing to many of you who have trusted and supported us for so long.
For us, this marks the end of a Hyundai partnership that began in 1994 — something we are incredibly proud of.
If you are a Hyundai owner who has used our Kidderminster dealership, here’s what you need to know:
We can still service and maintain your Hyundai vehicle outside of warranty or prepaid servicing.
We can perform regular servicing, but we cannot process any Hyundai warranty repair work. All warranty repairs must now be completed by an authorised Hyundai dealer.
We can no longer process Hyundai prepaid service plans at Kidderminster from the end of November.
Our technicians have decades of Hyundai experience and can continue to offer expert care, diagnostics, repairs, and genuine Hyundai parts for non-warranty work.
Our servicing and repair costs will remain more competitive than many main dealer groups, helping you reduce motoring costs wherever possible.
In recent months, several members of our Hyundai team chose to continue their careers within the Hyundai network. While we fully respect their decision, it has affected our service department capacity. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused during this transition period.
While we’re sad to close our Hyundai chapter, we're excited to announce a new beginning: All Electric Garages Group will be taking on BYD, one of the world's most innovative and fast-growing automotive brands, leading the charge in electric and Hybrid vehicle technology and sustainable mobility. We believe BYD represents an exciting future, and we are thrilled to bring this dynamic lineup to our community. BYD Stourbridge launched July 1st.
